How many of you out there remember recording that album? I have an interesting story to share of how that album came to me. One day a friend of my mother’s was visiting in my small town of Riverton, Manitoba. He went to our little thrift shop and bought a few things. One of them happened was an album. When some of my family minus me went to his house to bring back some of my mom’s belongings he showed them the album. It was the above named album. Next time he passed through Riverton while I was at work to drop some more of her stuff off at our place he left me this album. I am interested in how an album from my high school in the city of Winnipeg came to be found in a thrift shop in Riverton, Manitoba

This isn’t for Daniel, but a lot of Daniel folks went to Cecil Rhodes for Junior High and Elementary. Because this is a ‘big one’, their 100th, I figured I should post details as I received them.

April 18, 19 and 20th, 2008
Less than a week away is “The Big One”. Trot over to the Alumni Association website (dmcialumni.org) for details on tickets, wrestling matches etc.
Personally, I’ll be at the school’s open house on Saturday afternoon, April 19th. There is a looming health issue in my immediate family that might prevent me from attending, but it appears to be under control, so I expect to be there.
Anyone who expects to attend any part of the reunion, I suggest you leave a comment on this post say where and when you’ll be there so people who wish to meet up with you can find you.
Rumour is there will NEVER be another 85th DMCI school reunion. So let’s make this one count!
