Hello, Class of 1983
Hello everybody out there. This is Troy Yaschyshyn class of ‘83 How is everybody doing? I see alot of familiar faces and names and would like to from you all. Not only did we all go to DMCI but by the looks of it half of everybody mentioned worked in the HSC Dietary dept. ha ha . I have very fond memories of my time at DMCI and even though it was for only one year because of the HSC it seems like I went through the whole DMCI program. I’m out in Edmonton but now that I found all of you I’d like to keep in touch.

Hi All
There are many of us who live away and because of busy schedules and families it is difficult to get back to Winnipeg….what would you all think of posting recent pics of ourselves and our families, so we can see what’s become of us all?

Hi Troy,
Great to hear from you. I was speaking with Bridgette and a few other people from the Class of 1983 and your name came up a couple of time because no one knew where you were living nowadays. We have just begun the plans for our 25th reunion in 2008 - have put together a complete class list and are beginning gather as much contact information about everyone as we can. Send me an email at bfouquet@mts.net when you get a chance and I can then add your contact info to the list. Hope you are well and that you will be able to get to Winnipeg in 2008 to attend the reunion - should be a blast. No date has been set yet but we should hopefully have more information within the next 6 months or so.
Take care, Barb (Butler) Fouquette

Maria, I think that is a great idea. It would be nice to see recent photos of everyone and their families. It would also be nice to hear what people did after highschool, where they are now living and what they are doing now.Did you go to UofM after DMCI. How did you end up in the U.S.It would be nice to catch up with our classmates who couldn’t attend the reunion.

Yes I did go to U of M and after grad I moved to Toronto. I have a cousin who went to Michigan State and my hubby is his best friend. After my hubby graduated from MSU he moved to Detroit and frequented Toronto, so my cousin set us up. We had 3 dates and were married 3 months later. We have been married for 18 years and have 4 great kids. My hubby is the VP General Manager for Pepsi and I sell real estate part-time. So that’s my story.

Ok, so I opted for the 5 year plan but eventhough I didn’t graduate with you guys I should have. As far I’m concerned I belong with you guys. I also worked with a lot of you at HSC until John Schimnowski helped me get fired. Resentful, me? Not at all. I have had a real fun life thus far. And yes, I am still a nut bar. So what do ya say, can I come play?
