I thought that maybe some people are shy about registering on a new site. So if you find this site, and just want to say hello without registering, you can now do just that. Anyone can now add comments to one of the Article Posts simply by clicking where it says comments, filling in the fields, and submitting it. It asks for your email address, but that will not be visible on the site. It’s just to stop the spammers from filling up the board.
So let’s hear from ya! The first person to make a comment wins a huge prize*.

Hi all! Just wanted to mention that I attended the social evening of the DMCI 85th reunion at the Fort Garry Hotel on April 18th. Lots of people, but sadly I only ran into one person from our ‘82 graduating class.

I see that the Class of ‘83 reunion is really coming along (good for you Barb!). If there are some of you “organizing” types out there willing to get a Class of ‘82 reunion event happening, I’m willing to assist in doing so.
Post your comments on this website and lets see how many Class of ‘82 people are interested in getting something together.
Also, if you’re still in touch with people from school, spread the word about this website to them.

I bet some 82’s would be very welcome at the class of 83 reunion. I’m not speaking for Barb, but I’m suggesting a combined event. Helps make sure the reunion breaks even financially. Whacha think Barb? Teresa?

Just an FYI, I would of loved to attend. But previously my brother had made plans to take my mother for her 70th birthday to Vegas, on Sept 25th till the 29th so my three brothers and I will be in Vegas with mom. Looking forward to seeing all sorts of picture from the night. I will try and forward a current picture for the year of 83.
Miss you all, as I have now seen my son graduate last year, and am watching his life change!

Does anyone have access to Angela Budowski’s obituary? She passed away many years ago and was a Class of 1983 graduate - it would be great to post it on this site in memoriam. I tried the Winnipeg Free Press Passages websie but no luck.

Regarding the Class of 1983 - 25th Reunion Social taking place on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 426 Osborne Street, Winnipeg, MB, all DMCI Alumi are more than welcome to attend.

Well, if Jim Tower (class of ‘78) could show up at reunions that were from way outside his time period, then being off by one year doesn’t strike me as a bad thing. Definately going to be at this one myself.
