Guess who (round two)

Posted in Pictures at 1:35 pm by Corey Robinson (81)

ten thousand miles away
From 10 thousand miles away. (Or likely more). This lucky alumnus is standing on a bridge in Japan. Who is she?

closerOK, our mystery person was kind of enough to send a larger version of the photo. So what do you think now? It’s not Mrs. Getschel!

Update: As of October 19th, 10:30am, no one has guessed. I might have to classify this one as an unsolved mystery! I’m giving away one blatant clue now. Hair colour. Check your yearbooks!

Everyone is stumped I see! Here’s a clue. She’s on the list at the right. If you have yearbooks, I think you’ll be able to figure it out!

Problem is that her picture’s too small. I can’t really make out her face.

you can click on it for an enlargement, in case you didn’t know that (yes, it’s still pretty small even then)

The face is tough to see well, but there are other clues.

She hasn’t changed overly much. I thought it was her because I also went to General Wolfe school with her.

Hi Karen how are things with you. Went out with Clare tonight for supper and we talk about old times and all the things that we did in school. Remember the time we skip classes and went over to her place and you burnt you stomach on the stove when we were trying to make a pizza? Those were the days

    Hey Bob & Karen,

Isn’t it great that we can talk to each other via email anytime we want and reminisce about people and events from high school. Oh yeah, for you guys it would be called the good old days (just kidding). Have either of you had luck tracking down any other classmates by email to add to the list on the right of this page? I have sent this website link to quite a few people and I see the list growing all the time. Bob, you should pull out your old Grade 12 yearbook and type up a list and send it in to Corey Robinson to add to this website. Hey, while you’re at it, try to find an old picture of you and Karen at grad and send it in to see if people recognize you guys.

    Hey there!

Firstly, Barb, I think I can get in touch with Ed Rakar, and I’ll see about a few others. Secondly, Barb, if you want to see any of Bob’s grad pictures, I’ve got a few . . . Bob is easy to find, though . . . he’s the one who doesn’t look too sober!! (Just kidding Bob).

Thirdly, Clare, my number is still in the book . . . or it use to be until we moved to Stonewall last month. It’s 467-8875 (probably not a smart thing to do over the internet, but what the heck!).

Lastly, Tracy, I still don’t have my computer up and running, but the one at work is, so hear I am. I call you soon to get together for coffee at Tim’s.

    See ya!
    Karen

    Hi Lily!

Yes I remember the event, however, I also burned my head on Clare’s curling iron and my tongue on some hot chocolate Clare had made. We laughed and said it would have been better if I had stayed in school!
