How we are building our class list

Posted in General at 8:50 am by Corey Robinson (81)

There is a special database that is being filled up with people as we find them. For the most part, we prefer to put an email address into it. This is so when the reunion details are finalized, we can easily email everyone the information. If an email isn’t available, an address and phone number are also useful.

The list is only updated when we actually receive contact from someone. When a person posts a comment on the site, or they sign up, they are added to the database. A person could also use the Contact the site admin link on the right to send us information.

If you know someone who doesn’t have access to email or a computer, and you can give us their phone number, we’ll call them to confirm their contact info. Any information you give about someone should be done privately, so it’s recommend you use the Contact the site admin link to do it.

I have some distinct memories of cat costumes and trick or treating at Halloween with you and also some of the best birthday parties were at your house. Hope you are well. Are you planning on coming to the reunion? It would be good to see some familiar faces. Take care.

    Tony,

Do you recall, in kindergarten or maybe grade 1, when some kid got mad at you for constantly bugging him? That kid got so mad that he turned around and ripped off the pocket from your shirt? This was right after recess and we were all waiting in line to get back into school.

  42. Tony Barbaro said,

    January 12, 2006 at 1:11 pm

I cant recall the shirt incident. Man , what a memory……

Hey Corey. Pam was wondering what I look like. How would I go about putting my picture on this site. I would like to use my grade 11 picture as that was my favourite.

Hello Amelia, how are you. I remember you and Mrs. Mills class. Do you remember who else was in our class. I remember Corey, Edwin Kwong, Edmond Chow and I think there was someone named Brian but I can’t recall who else was in there.

  44. Corey said,

    January 13, 2006 at 12:51 pm

    Ken,

I’m not sure if my Grade 11 yearbook survived. (A flooded basement incident). I’ll check. If I have it, I’ll post it for you. Or, you can do it yourself in the headshot tab, which will attach a picture to your profile. Your profile pic shows up in a post you make, or on your profile page, which can be seen by clicking your name. Here’s my profile as an example. (http://dmcireunion.com/courtyard/?author=2). I’ll let you know if I can’t find your pic.

UPDATE: I found my grade 11 yearbook. I’ll post your pic soon.

UPDATE2: I’ve added your pic to your profile. Anyone can view it here > http://dmcireunion.com/courtyard/?author=31

I am in most of the classes and I remember most of you all but I do not hang around much in school at that time. I go home after school. But I have changed now….

I have the Grade 12 yearbook. I will check it later on as I have to go to my bowling league right now. Bowling and Golf is my sport here in Vancouver.

Thanks Corey . Has any body heard from Bill Hrycak,John Kowal or SteveYurkiw ? Does anybody remember the fight scene that was filmed in the hall that got just a little to real ? I remember laughing uncontrollably while we watched the video over and over again. Who was in this fight scene and who punched who ?

  48. barbaro said,

    January 14, 2006 at 8:49 am

    Ken , I saw your picture too….who’s the man ? Yeah i know , you are..LoL.

    Tony

  49. Corey said,

    January 14, 2006 at 10:49 am

I tried contacting Stephen Yurkiw. I think I might have found him, but he hasn’t responded. John Kowal was in Minneapolis, and is apparently now back in Manitoba, but I haven’t found him. I haven’t tried to look for Bill Hrycak yet.

I don’t remember ‘the fight scene’ much. I didn’t watch the making of it, and never saw the results. It would be cool to find that for the reunion. Who was heading up that?

  50. Ken Beal said,
