Seems one of our alumni has gotten to be quite a curler. It looks like him, but I haven’t seen him since 1981. Can someone confirm if this is our Randy?

My mom told it me it was ….another good Weston kid who lived around the corner from the Buss twins and yous’d to play pickup b-ball with. I really followed that brier last year cause if he had won , the world championship was exactly two blocks from me and I was down for seeing a good Weston kid in the world chamionship!!!!!
He was much skinnier than I rememember though?

Hey Corey,
Randy is in the 79-80 yearbook curling club picture.I curled with Randy and Dave Tonnellier for three years before moving to Regina.Roy Schuetzmann also curled with us for awhile.It was great to see him win Manitoba and curl at the Brier.Hopefully, his team can repeat and come to the Brier in Regina.

Curling has got to be the only sport where you can ’sport’ a beer belly! I never ‘got’ curling. Seems like magic to me. Hopefully Randy will be findable. I don’t yet have an email for him.

I have emailed Randy and mentioned the reunion, but I haven’t received a response yet. He is probably to busy with curling to even check his email.

Hi everybody,
Just another little tidbit about Randy. If anybody gets the Winnipeg Free Press there is and insert this week about the curling in Steinbach and there is a small article about Randy in the insert. Just thought I would pass this on.
