    Hi Corey,

    I just exchanged emails with Manuel Cabezas. I lost touch with him right after high school. It turns out he went to live in Chile in 1985, got his degree, married and is raising his family. It was great to chat with him on-line, see pictures of his wife and kids and learn how he was part of a generation that brought democracy to his people.

    Thanks Corey for facilitating this chance to talk to an old friend. It was a gift.
    Thanks also for all of your efforts in taking the lead on organizing our DMCI renunion. It was great to visit the DMCI Reunion site recently and seeing the pictures brought back a lot of good memories. Including a photo of me (my back actually) dancing with our principal at grad. I still remember her smiling and saying “So Ron did you lose the bet”, when I asked her to dance. Just for the record, there was no bet, I just thought it might be a cool memory to someday say I remember dancing with the principal. Twenty five years later I do get a kick out of it but I also wonder why I didn’t ask more of the cute girls to dance as well.

    Keep up the good work Corey. I have chatted with Ken Mills, Walter Rodrigues and others and there definately are alumni who, like me, are looking forward to June 10th.

    For those like Manuel, who are too far away to attend, I hope to put up some pics of our event on this website so he can at least see how different we all look. (Well, except for you Ron, I’ve seen a recent picture or you. You look the same!)
