Daniel McIntyre Reunion Talk » Site Update Notification
Hi! Is there anyone out there from the class of 1957? That’s 50 years ago and I realize that not all of you can remember that far back but give it a try. Elaine Roberts Vance

Daniel Mac Mug
The photo is of a beer mug from I think 1979-80. I thought with the football fundraiser someone might be interested in seeing it as it has the Maroons logo.

Hello, Class of 1983
Hello everybody out there. This is Troy Yaschyshyn class of ‘83 How is everybody doing? I see alot of familiar faces and names and would like to from you all. Not only did we all go to DMCI but by the looks of it half of everybody mentioned worked in the HSC Dietary dept. ha ha . I have very fond memories of my time at DMCI and even though it was for only one year because of the HSC it seems like I went through the whole DMCI program. I’m out in Edmonton but now that I found all of you I’d like to keep in touch.

Thank You Everyone!
I can’t thank everyone enough for the support you showed for the social, it means a lot to me.
I’m really glad Ken Beal brought his photos along because the only ones I had kind of sucked. Thank you, Ken, and thanks to Lilly as well for the sweater. It was a long way for you both to go and I think we are all impressed by that.
Karen Nelson came from Stonewall (okay, not as far, but still…) and took care of the food angle which really helped, as I think my choices for food wouldn’t have gone over very well.
Thank you, Karen.
This all started with Corey Robinson. Granted it wasn’t what he had in mind but it wouldn’t have happened without his efforts. Best friend out of my school years. Thanks man.
Whats awkward for me is the collection that was taken to help cover the costs. I was aware that there could be a loss and was prepared to cover it, but everyone chipping in really moved me. There were decent people at that school, and a good chunk of them made it clear they are still great in every way.
Thank you all.
So, once I talked to Brigida and picked up some left over tickets I found that there was still some money once costs were covered. This was given to the Legion Poppy Fund, as its that time of year.
Now, people took photos….lets see them!

Thanks Corey and Bruce.
You guys did a great job and I enjoyed the reunion. The memorabilia display was a nice touch (I can’t believe someone kept those old DMCI newsletters!). It was nice to chat with everyone and recall all the crazy and cool things that happened during our DMCI years. It was fun trying to put names to familiar faces!
Again, thank you Corey and Bruce.
Good to see everyone!
What a great night! It was awesome to see so many people I haven’t seen for years. Everyone looks great! Some haven’t changed very much (lucky for them!)

Nov 4th social - FINAL UPDATE!
Hey everyone, Tomorrow nights the big night. the hall is booked and we WILL sell tickets at the door. But if you are able to get ahold of Maria or Brigida that would be good as well as both have some tickets left.
So, the Fort Rouge Legion at 426 Osborne Street, south of the underpass and right across from the Transit garage. 8 P.M. til I’m tired and kick everyone out cuz I gotta go to work the next day.
There will be food later in the evening as well as the usual chips at the table. I made a wall display of the school newspapers that I have so they can be looked at by one and all and Ken and Lilly are bringing photos and stuff to go along with what I have to display (and by that I mean memorabilia).
There is a door prize so save your ticket stubs.
We’ve done this with a minimum number of people doing things so everyone can have a chance to hang out with everybody that they haven’t seen in years.
The music man plays requests and at a reasonable volume so you can hear each other.
Off to see the Dust Rhinos tonight at Dylan O’connors, so anyone nedding to get in touch I’ll be there or at work tomorrow until I head to the hall.
Look forward to seeing everyone, and a very big thank you to all of you who bought your tickets ahead of time.
