Less than a week away is “The Big One”. Trot over to the Alumni Association website (dmcialumni.org) for details on tickets, wrestling matches etc.
Personally, I’ll be at the school’s open house on Saturday afternoon, April 19th. There is a looming health issue in my immediate family that might prevent me from attending, but it appears to be under control, so I expect to be there.
Anyone who expects to attend any part of the reunion, I suggest you leave a comment on this post say where and when you’ll be there so people who wish to meet up with you can find you.
Rumour is there will NEVER be another 85th DMCI school reunion. So let’s make this one count!

I had hoped to have this finalized by now, but as a tail, I can only wag the dog so much. I’ll give you an update with what I know so far.
We’re moving the date of the reunion from June to October. The main reason is to give us more time to find people, and to sell enough tickets so we can break even on the event. I do not yet have a specific date worked out. As soon as I do, I’ll email everyone to update them. For those of you who couldn’t attend in June due to other plans, perhaps this will give you an opportunity to attend.
I’m optimistic that we’ll find enough people, but I think we’re more likely to get there with everyone’s help. I’d like you to make it your missing to find two people from the unfound list. Call parents, or where you heard they last worked, anything the junior detective kit suggests. If we all do that, I think we’ll have a fantastic reunion.

Oh my gosh! I’m looking at my calendar, and am getting excited. We’re just 2 months away from the 25 years later reunion. I’m compelled to say a couple things.

I’m curious to know if I can post some grad photos. I have about 80 grad photos of the dinner and dance and boat cruise back in ‘81. I don’t even know some of the people I took photos of but I remember wanting to get everyone so I would not forget that wonderful time! Let me know If I should post the best of the bunch, nothing incriminating will be used I promise.

Hi there! If you’re reading this, you’ve found me. Just to let the other readers in on things, I was contacted by someone from the School Board that another person has asked to have a reunion in June. Because of privacy act laws and such, they are not allowed to give us each others name. This despite the fact I’ve given them specific permission to pass my name along. But it was ok for her to pass on this website. So hopefully, the person from BC who has also attempted to initiate a class reunion is reading this.
